APEX Simulation & Technology was founded in 2013 by Ramiro Fidalgo and José Miguel Montoya. It is a Mexican company that develops, manufactures and installs professional driving simulators. It was born in motorsport and ended up training the drivers of Mexico's largest fleets.
Chief Executive Officer
Started APEX in 2013 and has led it since. A racing driver himself: in 2016 he won the NASCAR Mexico championship training on the company's own racing simulators — the clearest proof that the product does what it promises.
Chief Growth Officer
Joined APEX to take the simulators to a higher level of technical complexity: driving physics, telemetry and assessment software. Today he leads the commercial side and the relationships with corporate and government accounts.
Ramiro Fidalgo founds APEX Simulation & Technology. The first products are racing simulators: NASCAR, for brand activations and competition experiences. José Miguel Montoya joins shortly after to take the equipment to a higher level of technical complexity.
The line evolves toward Formula 1 and motion systems arrive: cockpits mounted on actuators that reproduce real G-forces. That work set the technical foundation for everything that followed.
Ramiro Fidalgo wins the NASCAR Mexico championship, training on the company's own simulators. The validation comes from the track: the product is good enough to actually race with.
The market starts asking for something else. Companies that saw the racing simulators wanted to know whether the same thing existed to train their drivers. We didn't chase that demand: it found us.
Each season adds a new product to the line, driven by what the industries asked for: car, heavy truck, bus, forklift, police patrol, motorcycle, firearms and mining equipment.
More than ten years in operation, with simulators installed in fleets, plants, police academies and licensing centers across Mexico, plus operations in the United States.
APEX designs, manufactures and installs high-immersion driving simulators: a real cockpit, wraparound projection, software, an instructor station and per-driver telemetry. The scenarios recreate the real accidents from each client's own operation, with their vehicle type and their conditions.
We work with transport and logistics fleets, public safety forces, plants and distribution centers, and state agencies that run the practical driver's license exam.
