Military vehicle simulator

The APEX military vehicle simulator trains armed forces in driving tactical land vehicles: a replica of the vehicle interior, convoy maneuvers, and interaction between units within the same scenario.

Military driver training demands what no training ground can provide every day: hostile terrain, extreme conditions, and coordinated movements of multiple vehicles. The simulator makes it possible over a network — several driving stations operate in the same scenario and practice group movements, with real-time feedback from cloud telemetry.

The system replicates the land vehicle types armed forces operate: light tactical and rapid-reaction vehicles, troop and personnel transport, 4x4, 6x6, and 8x8 all-terrain logistics trucks, wheeled armored vehicles, and convoy escort units. Driving is trained on the terrain of the real operation — dirt roads, slopes, sand, mud, fording, and night driving — and each institution defines per project which vehicles and scenarios to replicate.

Networked tactical driving

Several driving stations, one shared scenario: the whole convoy trains together.

Replicated driving station of the APEX military vehicle simulator

Total-immersion cab

A replica of the tactical vehicle's driving station, fully enclosed and roofed, on a system that moves the ENTIRE cab and not just the seat: terrain, slope, and load are felt through the whole body.
Wraparound field of view of the APEX military vehicle simulator

True-to-life field of view

Wraparound projection with a full horizon and night driving: the operator keeps the visual references that moving through open terrain and low visibility demands.
Interactive training classroom with the APEX military vehicle simulator

Interactive training classroom

The unit follows the exercise on screen while one operator drives: the maneuver is analyzed as a group, and the instructor turns practice into instruction.
Multi-user control station of the APEX military vehicle simulator

Multi-user control station

The instructor drives another vehicle inside the same scenario, and several simulators operate over a network: the whole convoy trains together, with spacing, rotations, and coordinated movements.
Exercise telemetry

Every maneuver, measured per operator

Speed, braking, convoy spacing, and driving errors for every station, in real time. The instructor receives feedback from the entire formation, and the record stays in the cloud — tamper-proof and validated by fingerprint.

The software

Simulation software and the cloud

The simulator is only half the story: the software recreates the real accidents from your operation, measures every session, and delivers the results in the cloud.

Simulation of a real accident recreated in the APEX military vehicle simulator

Real-accident simulation

We recreate the incidents that already happened in the operation — same vehicle, same terrain, same conditions — so the operator can face them without exposing units or personnel.
APEX military vehicle simulator software configured to the client's operation

Customizable software

Scenarios, vehicles, and missions configurable to the institution: terrain type, visibility conditions, and the procedures command defines.
APEX cloud dashboard with reports from every simulator

Cloud dashboards

Reports from all your simulators, centralized in the cloud: accessible from any device, in real time.
Real-time telemetry from the APEX military vehicle simulator during an exercise

Real-time telemetry

Speed, braking, convoy spacing, and driving errors measured live: the instructor receives feedback from every station in real time.

Frequently asked questions

What institutions ask us

The questions we hear most from armed forces and defense institutions.

What is a military vehicle simulator?

It's a training system for driving military land vehicles that replicates the vehicle interior with its real controls, projects the tactical environment, and measures every maneuver by telemetry. It enables both individual and group driver training: several driving stations operate in the same scenario and interact with one another, just like a real convoy.

Which maneuvers can be trained?

Individual driving on hostile terrain — dirt roads, slopes, mud, sand, night driving —, convoy movements with spacing and rotations, and interaction between vehicles in the same exercise. These are maneuvers whose training with real units costs fuel, wear, and risk; in the simulator they're repeated without limit and with objective per-operator evaluation.

Can the simulators operate over a network?

Yes — it's one of their core capabilities: several simulators connect to the same scenario and the operators see each other, so the whole convoy trains together. The instructor supervises the entire formation from their station, modifies exercise conditions live, and receives each vehicle's telemetry in real time from the cloud.

What types of military vehicles can be simulated?

Light tactical and rapid-reaction vehicles, troop and personnel transport, 4x4, 6x6, and 8x8 all-terrain logistics trucks, wheeled armored vehicles, and convoy escort units. The platform is the same one that backs the largest fleets and agencies in Mexico, and the exact configuration of vehicles, terrain, and scenarios is defined per project with each institution.

What does support and maintenance include?

An annual service plan with preventive and corrective maintenance, remote and on-site support, software updates, and spare parts, with our own technicians in Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, and the Bajío region. The operation is local: we are manufacturers with a presence in Mexico, and service to security institutions doesn't depend on a foreign vendor.

How is the APEX military vehicle simulator different from other simulators?

On the hardware side: a replica of the driving station on a system that moves the entire cab — not just the seat — and the ability to run several simulators over a network within the same scenario, so the whole convoy trains together and interacts between vehicles. On the software side: fingerprint identification and cloud telemetry with tamper-proof results. Plus the largest after-sales support operation in Mexico, with our own technicians in four regions.

What's included when you buy an APEX simulator?

Delivery is turnkey: APEX installs the equipment, calibrates it, and trains your instructors — it's up and running from day one, with no integrators or third parties. It includes the equipment warranty and access to APEX Drive+, the app where support tickets are filed and service history is kept. Once the warranty ends, the annual maintenance plan covers preventive and corrective service and every spare part, with technician travel and expenses included.

What makes APEX after-sales support different from other simulator vendors?

Most vendors sell the equipment with limited coverage: spare parts are quoted separately, technician travel and expenses are billed on top, damage from misuse isn't covered, and service depends on a distributor or an overseas manufacturer. The APEX service plan includes every spare part in the simulator, technician travel and expenses, and coverage even against equipment misuse. Everything is tracked in APEX Drive+, and service is delivered by our own technicians in Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, and the Bajío region.
