Mexico City's public bus network RTP acquired 50 YUTONG electric buses — and Mexico's first electric bus simulator from APEX to train the drivers who will operate the new fleet.
The recent acquisition of 50 YUTONG electric buses by Mexico City's Passenger Transportation Network (RTP) represents a bold step toward modernizing public transit and making it more sustainable. But successfully deploying the new fleet depends not only on the quality of the vehicles — it also depends on properly training the drivers who will operate them.
