Formula 1 simulator

The APEX Formula 1 simulator is a real single-seater cockpit: carbon fiber, the driving position of a Formula car, an authentic competition steering wheel, and a 180-degree triple screen — tested by professional drivers like Sergio Pérez.

For a developing driver, it's the way to train what only a single-seater teaches: the reclined driving position, braking without ABS, the ground-level visual reference, and reading the wheel's LED indicators. Every session is measured by telemetry to work through with the instructor.

For the Formula 1 fan, it's the single-seater that actually fits in a home: APEX delivers it installed and calibrated anywhere in Mexico, with the cockpit wrapped to your taste and your own virtual team in the software. It has run at the Race of Champions, Formula E, and the Mexican Grand Prix — and it's also available for rent for events.

APEX Formula®: the most advanced single-seater in Mexico

A carbon fiber cockpit with a real Formula driving position, a competition wheel, and a 180° triple screen.

Wraparound visual system of the APEX Formula 1 simulator

180-degree triple screen

Three bezel-less 27-inch full HD screens merge into a panoramic view of more than 6 million pixels: the driver sees the track and the apexes, not the screens.

Real single-seater cockpit

Carbon fiber and the posture of the starting grid: the driver lies back, legs raised, eyes at ground level — the driving position no conventional cockpit teaches and every Formula driver has to master.
APEX Formula 1 simulator wrapped and installed at home

An F1 simulator for your home

Professional Formula steering wheel

An authentic competition wheel with an aluminum faceplate, LED telemetry indicators, and configurable buttons — the driver learns to read it without taking their eyes off the track. Aluminum pedals with adjustable hydraulic braking.
Race-grade telemetry

The data a driver works with

Lap and sector times, top speeds, braking, and racing line against the reference lap: every session in the single-seater is measured and ready for review — everything runs locally on the unit, no cloud, no internet.

The software

Simulation software and the cloud

The simulator is only half the story: the software recreates the real accidents from your operation, measures every session, and delivers the results in the cloud.

Single-seater physics and calendar circuits in the APEX Formula 1 simulator

Real single-seater physics

Aerodynamic load that builds with speed, tires that need temperature, and brakes that don't forgive, on the calendar's circuits the driver needs to memorize corner by corner.

Race-grade telemetry

Lap and sector times, top speeds, braking, and the racing line compared against the reference lap: the driver sees the exact corner to work on in the next stint.
APEX Formula cockpits racing over a network

Networked multiplayer grid

Several cockpits in the same race: starts, turn one, and defending position — the wheel-to-wheel a real single-seater won't let you practice without risk, with driver-configurable assists.

Frequently asked questions

What drivers ask us

The questions we hear most from developing drivers and Formula 1 fans.

What is the APEX Formula 1 simulator?

It's a real single-seater cockpit, not a generic rig: carbon fiber, the reclined driving position of a Formula car, an authentic competition steering wheel with LED telemetry indicators, adjustable hydraulic-braking pedals, a 180-degree triple screen, and 1,500 watts of surround sound. Tested by professional drivers like Sergio Pérez, it's the most advanced simulation single-seater on the Mexican market.

Does it work for training a developing driver?

Yes — it's where it contributes most. The posture, the LED wheel, and braking without assists teach what only a single-seater demands, and telemetry by lap and sector turns every stint into data: braking points, racing line against the reference lap, and measurable consistency. A karting driver moving up arrives at their first test with the circuit and the driving position already learned.

Can I have a Formula 1 simulator at home?

Yes. It's the single-seater that actually fits in a home: APEX delivers it installed and calibrated anywhere in Mexico, wraps the cockpit with your colors and number, sets up your virtual team in the software, and backs it with ongoing technical support.

Does the software need internet or the cloud?

To run, no: physics, circuits, telemetry, and your session data run locally in the cockpit — turn it on and race. With an internet connection you can also compete online against other drivers, in Formula or any other category.

At which events has the APEX Formula simulator run?

At the Race of Champions, with BMW in Formula E, at the Mexican Grand Prix with Roshfrans and with the HAAS F1 team, plus activations with VUHL and ABB. That same equipment is available for rent for events with transport, setup, operation, and brand customization included — APEX's motorsport origins are still going strong.
