Sergio “Checo” Pérez trains on APEX simulators. The Mexican Formula 1 driver keeps APEX equipment in Guadalajara, where he trains tracks virtually — braking points, racing lines, and lap rhythm with competition-grade physics — without depending on a real car or an available circuit.
Training in Guadalajara
The simulator reproduces the circuits and the car's behavior on the same platform as APEX's motorsport line: the driver repeats a sector as many times as it takes, compares his times lap after lap, and arrives at the race weekend with the track already mastered. It's the same principle our fleet customers use to train thousands of operators — applied here at the highest level of motorsport.
From the track to brand events
Beyond training, Checo has appeared with APEX simulators at brand events. At an activation booked by Roshfrans at Mexico City International Airport, he ran the Interlagos circuit in his Force India livery in front of travelers, at the wheel of our Formula Simulator.
The relationship with his team from those years didn't stop at the airport: Force India requested APEX's Formula and MotionGP simulators for its event at Moon Palace, Cancún, with the equipment installed on site and APEX's own staff operating it for the full run of the event.
