According to the governor, the project represents a firm bet on talent development as the foundation of the state's economic growth strategy. To that end, the state made a major investment and selected simulation technology to complement the impressive facilities.

A truck driving simulator to professionalize more drivers
The immersion of the truck driving simulator multiplies how deeply concepts are internalized. And the safety of the virtual environment lets trainees practice high-risk situations without the danger of attempting them in a real vehicle — allowing students to complete a large part of their training journey on the simulator.
The simulator serves two main purposes: on one hand, introducing newcomers to driving commercial vehicles; on the other, for experienced drivers, it is a powerful tool for eliminating bad driving habits and teaching them how to reach optimal, professional performance.

The truck driving simulator features advanced, highly realistic software and controls that mirror a real vehicle. Combined with the training plan and detailed reports, it becomes a high-value tool for driver professionalization — speeding up the training of new drivers, guaranteeing fundamental skills and road safety for all of them, and positioning them as top candidates for better jobs.
This center's purpose is to train drivers for the trucking industry who can meet the needs of the state's small, medium and large companies.
