Committed to the safety of its communities and its people, Coca-Cola FEMSA México acquired more heavy-duty truck and forklift simulators to power an advanced driver professionalization program.
Mexico City, April 23, 2024 — Committed to the safety of the communities where it operates and of its own people, Coca-Cola FEMSA México recently acquired more driving simulators for heavy-duty trucks and forklifts, with which it aims to drive the professionalization of its operators through an advanced training program built on innovative, immersive digital simulators — strengthening a culture of prevention.

The simulator configuration includes more than 70 vehicles and 240 scenario combinations that follow Mexican traffic regulations and offer routes of up to 40 kilometers.

With these simulators, we are taking training to a level of realism and technical specificity that makes a difference in the industry. Our vision is clear: we want to be pioneers in using advanced technology solutions to cultivate a workforce that is highly trained, efficient and, above all, safe.

The program puts cutting-edge technology at the service of its drivers, ensuring they are prepared to handle the most demanding situations on the highway, on city streets, and inside company facilities.
The simulators give trainers clear information about drivers' risk perception, reaction speed, and other learnings that will keep developing better practices going forward — reinforcing an agile culture of continuous improvement centered on people.

With the simulator, we can recreate real accidents from daily operations to show drivers how each event could have been prevented — detecting and correcting weaknesses behind the wheel and raising safety levels to the maximum.
