Grupo Armstrong, a leading company in security and the transport of valuables and merchandise, has equipped a mobile training unit with an armored vehicle driving simulator and a firearms training simulator.
The driving simulator recreates armored vehicle operation under the situations and risk factors that could endanger employees' lives — pursuits, robberies and defensive driving — allowing teams to train through difficult scenarios in a controlled environment.
It also enables practice of high-risk maneuvers involving pedestrians and cyclists, with the goal of improving road safety and the training of its professional transport operators.
The firearms training simulator allows security personnel to practice use of force and marksmanship with both handguns and long guns, building teams that know how to respond to the situations that can arise while delivering or collecting clients' merchandise and valuables.
