With an investment of more than 45 million pesos, Juan Manuel Carreras López, Governor of the State of San Luis Potosí, inaugurated the ICAT SLP National Trucking School.
The project was made possible through collaboration with the private sector via the Logistics Cluster of auto-parts distributors, passenger bus, and public transit companies, as well as the National Confederation of Mexican Carriers (CONATRAM).
The national trucking school features training areas, a computer lab, and a classroom of virtual simulators where transport operators are trained, assessed, and tracked over time. It also includes a 750-meter test track.
