Transportes JSV powers safe logistics through simulator training

To maintain high service standards, Transportes JSV set out to deliver safe, high-quality hazardous materials transportation — grounded in constant personnel development and simulator-based driver training.

Growth built on market differentiators

To maintain high service standards, Transportes JSV aims to deliver and guarantee safe, high-quality hazardous materials transportation — grounded in the constant development of its people and the continuous improvement of its Quality Management System to meet its customers' requirements.

Our drivers are constantly training in defensive driving, safe maneuvers, basic mechanics, road signage and the handling of hazardous materials and waste — preventing risk and building positive attitudes in their performance.

Jorge Santana VillarrealJorge Santana VillarrealChief Executive Officer, Transportes JSV.

Transportes JSV runs a fleet of 150 tractor-trailers and more than 300 trailer units, focused primarily on moving hydrocarbons — serving Mexico's state productive enterprises, such as Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex) and the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE), as well as private clients.

Pursuing continuous improvement through its new Driver Academy

In 2020 and 2021, Transportes JSV focused on driver training and professionalization with the addition of a driving simulator from APEX — the foundation for its Driver Academy, which launched this February and will be a key factor in continuing to professionalize its drivers.

This structure sets the stage for more dynamic growth this year, with the company targeting a 40-45% increase in its logistics activity.

We have a heavy vehicle simulator that virtualizes the operation of double-articulated trucks for training our people.

Driver professionalization

Among the challenges the hydrocarbon transportation industry faces today, management points to a regrettable shortage of specialized labor. That is why the organization chose to consolidate a Training Center equipped with a truck driving simulator — professionalizing and developing its people's capabilities to deliver ever more effective and safer services.

Transportes JSV has a nationwide presence with strategically located operating bases that help cement its position as an industry benchmark — a process built hand in hand with its professional drivers, its team and constant investment in technology.
